Strawberry Preserves
3 cups strawberries
|

3 cups sugar
|
Combine berries and sugar and let stand a few minutes in a large kettle.Place on low heat. When boil starts
around edge, take wooden spoon and move around. Do not stir much when boil begins again. Time 20 minutes.
Remove from stove. Take off foam with wax paper. Pour into flat pyrex dishes and leave overnight. Put
into jars and seal with hot wax.
